The capacity of the feed mill Progress in one shift production is 800 tons per month. The quantity of produced and sold complete feeds during 2005 year is about 10 000 tons.

Thanks to exclusively good developed distributor net and own storages the Feed mill has leading share on the market of complete feeds in west Bulgaria.

The factory is registered as approved producer by Agricultural and forest Ministry /MZGAR/ with identification No 010082003, Veterinarian permission № 12881 / 09.02.2004 г. for production of complete feeds, bioconcentrates, premixes, complementary feeds medical feeds. The quality system of Progress (as part of Viand JSC) is certified by SGS with certificate for ISO9001:2000 and it is in process to integrate HACCP.

Feed mill Progress is equipped with machines licensed by company BUHLER, completely renewed after buying the factory.

Every year is invested a big part of the profit of the factory in new lines, machines, equipment, hardware, software – with the aim to improve the quality, control and harmless of the products

We have:
  Two micro dosing lines with pre mixing of additives
  Vegetable Fat Spray Line
  Three Packing installations
  Active silos ventilation
  One of the modern systems for automation and control of all production process.


During 2005 was built completely independent line for complete feed production and concentrate for ruminants.

The technological lines have been approved and build after co-ordination of the project with specialists from Netherlands. There are minimum possibilities for cross contamination of the different raw materials in production of save complete and complementary feeds in bulk and packed.  

The total automation production process allows following every sharge, from each batch for each raw material which is included in the formula.

The process is fully automatic and assures traceability of production.

The feed factory has own transport for the final production.

There is laboratory for analysis of complete feeds and raw materials.

The laboratory is equipped with BUCHI instruments and has capacity 900 analysis of samples per year

According to quality plan monthly we are sending feed and raw material samples in authorized Lab for feed investigation in Nesebar town.
